Ted Whiteman was the first child of Henry William Whiteman (1861-1900) and Mary Ann (Polly) Smart (1860-1934) – although Polly had a previous son out of wedlock.

    Lived Houghton Conquest, Cornwall (where they ran a post office) and finally Great Barford.
    Phil d. at about 80, c. 1990?
    Joyce d. at 66, in Oct 1995.
